Product Overview
Triumph and BSA fuel tank mounting rubber (pair) designed to replace OEM components 83-4932, 83-3021, F13021 and F14932 used on Oil-in-Frame models.
These mounting rubbers help support and locate the fuel tank whilst reducing unwanted movement and vibration. Over time, original rubber components can harden, crack, compress or become damaged, resulting in a poor fit and increased movement of the fuel tank.
Manufactured in Great Britain by Tiger Forge Designs using premium quality TPU, these replacement mounting rubbers have been developed to provide compression characteristics closely matching the original components whilst benefiting from the durability and consistency of modern materials.
During development, a new replacement sample was measured and tested, with the finished TPU component achieving comparable hardness and compression behaviour to the reference part.

Material: Premium Quality Black TPU
This component is manufactured from premium quality black TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), an engineering material selected for its combination of flexibility, strength and resilience. TPU offers excellent resistance to wear, weathering and repeated flexing, making it well suited to motorcycle applications where vibration, movement and environmental exposure are common.
For a detailed comparison of traditional EPDM rubber and TPU, see our EPDM Rubber vs TPU Comparison Guide.
Engineered for the Application
Unlike traditional moulded rubber components, 3D printing allows the internal structure of the part to be tuned during manufacture. Material selection, wall thickness, infill type and infill density can all be adjusted to achieve the desired balance of flexibility, support and durability.
During development, Tiger Forge Designs evaluated the hardness and compression characteristics of a reference component and adjusted the design and print parameters to achieve comparable real-world behaviour.
