Why This Part Exists
Fuel tank mounts are typically accessed during routine maintenance or tank removal. Over time, original rubber mounts can compress, harden, split, or deteriorate, affecting tank support and alignment.
As the mounts degrade, excess movement and vibration can occur, placing additional stress on mounting points and surrounding components.
This replacement provides a serviceable solution for renewing worn mounts during maintenance, helping restore correct tank seating and controlled vibration isolation.
Design and Manufacture
Engineered as a direct-fit replacement, with geometry developed to replicate the original mounting interface while refining fit and functional performance where applicable. Interface profiles and internal structure are designed to provide controlled compliance where required, while maintaining positional stability under load. Precision-manufactured in-house using 3D printing processes.
Material: 95A Shore Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)
Manufactured in high-quality TPU selected for durability in real-world motorcycle environments.
Compared with many conventional rubber compounds, TPU offers excellent abrasion resistance, strong tear strength and improved resistance to oils and chain lubricants.
Because components are additively manufactured rather than moulded, geometry and wall thickness can be engineered to achieve the appropriate balance of flexibility and structural support for each specific application.
